The Scriptures relate the word to the root psh, which means "lame / over / over" (cf. 2 Sam 4: 4), 1Ki 18:21). In the final plague of the Egyptians, God stepped over / passed through houses that carried out the requirements of Easter (Ex 12: 13,23,27). This pesah celebration was then combined with another celebration, namely the celebration of unleavened Bread, a new agricultural / agricultural celebration which began to be celebrated after the Israelites entered the land of Canaan. This celebration is associated with the calculation of the week, and is carried out during the week (Ex 23:15; 34:18), from one Sabbath to the next Sabbath (Ex 12:16, De 16: 8; Lev 23: 6
